I have recently set up a new tank - it's only a little hexagon one, and I'm just cycling it at the moment.
Whilst I was out shopping today, I bought some glass pebbles from a local store, they were a real bargain. I have washed them and put them in the tank, and they look fantastic! When the light is on they shine different colours. I will post some pics soon, I'm so excited cos the tank looks fab!!! |

cool. I used to have lots of shiny blue pebble/beads in mine and it was nice. In one of my fry tanks i have these coloured transparent stones they did cost quite alot of money but it's worth it... whats the point in having a tank if it looks crap? lol

Exactly, it's only a little one, but it looks crackin! Just deciding what I'm going to put in it now!
Going to use it for a hospital tank for a couple of weeks, cos two of my neons have a nasty white growth on their mouths.
Then after I would like to use it for my guppy fry, but I will have to start a fresh with a few males & females.
I only have one female guppy left, and my fry - single female! so I will have to go and buy a new male.
How long can a female produce offspring after being with a male. It's been about 6 weeks now since my male died sadly. Can she still be pregnant or is she really fat????! |

I Lied!!!!
My little nephew was desperate to get rid of his fish. I couldn't see poor fish without a home!
So I have taken on board some new fish - so much for my breeding tank!
Oh well, they are all lovely fish, maybe not what I would have bought, but they are settling in nicely. No guppies though |
